Chadlite
Chadlite is the PSL-scale tier just below “Chad”, roughly 6.5 to 7.5: someone read as clearly good-looking, but not at the extreme the forums reserve for the top band.

Chadlite is a tier on the PSL scale covering roughly 6.5 to 7.5. It sits above HTN (high-tier normie) and below Chad, and describes someone read as clearly good-looking without being read as an outlier.
Where the word comes from
"Chad" is long-standing internet slang for a conventionally good-looking, confident man — a stock character more than a description of anyone real. The looksmaxxing forums turned it into a rating band, and "lite" marks the tier just underneath: most of the way there, by the forums' own measure. Above Chad sits "Gigachad", which is used far more as a joke than as a rating.
How it differs from HTN
The line between HTN and Chadlite is the most argued-over boundary on the scale, and for a revealing reason. Threads usually describe the gap as structural — a better jaw, better eyes. But look at the photos people offer as examples of each tier and a different pattern shows up. The Chadlite examples are almost always lean, with clear skin, a haircut that suits them, groomed brows and facial hair, decent light and a relaxed expression. The HTN examples are often the same kind of face with one or two of those missing.
What it actually measures
Like every tier, Chadlite is a reading of a photograph by strangers, on a scale whose decimals are invented. Raters agree on broad bands, not half-points, so the border with HTN is a noisy line, and the same person can land on either side of it depending on body fat, sleep and lighting. A tier that moves with inputs that change in weeks is describing those inputs as much as anything fixed.
What is changeable
No entry here tells you where you sit or promises where you could get to, and this one is no different. What can be said is that the qualities attributed to this tier in practice — leanness, skin quality, hair, grooming — are the controllable ones. Body composition is the biggest (body recomp basics), skin is next, and the ranked 2026 guide orders the rest by return. They are worth doing for how you feel about yourself, which is a better reason than any band on a forum scale.
